Neteller VIP – Status Level Changes

Changes and introduction of new VIP levels at Neteller

As of October 01, 2020, the status level conditions for using Neteller will be changed.

1. Neteller VIP levels are no longer evaluated every 12 months
2. The VIP levels are evaluated every three months. (1) Calendar Quarter
3. Introducing new Neteller VIP levels and goals
4. Removal of Platinum VIP level.

These changes will take effect on November 16, 2020. Once the threshold is reached, the VIP level is automatically updated.

Evaluated at the end of each quarter Neteller the total volume of allowed transactions from your Neteller account.

And apply one of the following Neteller VIP levels (“Neteller VIP Level”) to your Neteller Account for the duration of the next quarter:

(a) $6.000 (six thousand dollars) or more – “Bronze Level”;

(b) $15.000 (fifteen thousand dollars) or more – “Silver Level”;

c) $45.000 (forty-five thousand dollars) or more – “Gold Level”;

d) $150.000 (one hundred and fifty thousand dollars) or more – “Diamond Level”;

e) $600.000 (six hundred thousand dollars) or more – “Exclusive Level”.

If you reach the minimum transaction volume for a higher Neteller VIP level within a quarter, Neteller will upgrade your VIP level accordingly for the remainder of that quarter.

Any further changes to your NETELLER VIP level will be made on the first day of each quarter.

The VIP level changes are scheduled to take place on November 16th.

Therefore, the eligible transaction volume between October 01st and November 15th is calculated to determine the new level.

Comment on the VIP level changes

After all the surveys and feedback to make the limits or minimum requirements more attractive and to lower them, Neteller actually sees this actual increase as an advantage.

We would like to disagree, because now it will be even more difficult to keep the existing status. For us, this is clearly an increase in the minimum requirement.

For example, if you previously had a minimum requirement of $10.000 per calendar year to earn Bronze status, it is now $6000 per quarter.

Let's say a customer only averages $10.000 in transaction volume in a calendar year, how are they supposed to make $6000 a quarter?

This automatically means no more VIP status, although bronze status does not really bring any advantages.

Theoretically, of course, you can get to a higher level faster, but who, if you please, changes their behavior now?

And suddenly transfers more money to traders in a quarter in order not to lose the existing status or to get a higher one in order to benefit from it for only 3 months?

Many customers have already said goodbye to Neteller because it is getting worse and more complicated to carry out transactions with Neteller.

Unfortunately, we've had this experience for quite some time and we see the current changes as a serious disadvantage.

Instead of doing something about winning back customers or keeping existing ones, you do exactly the opposite.

None of those responsible have ever seriously thought about lowering the limits. So that normal customers can also speak of a real advantage when using this service.

Unfortunately, this is only reserved for a few users who deal with completely different sums in the year.

For us it is therefore a step in the wrong direction. Now surely more customers will follow better alternatives search.
