Dear readers and fellow campaigners,

Today I would like to take up this word "inactivity" or this clause as a condition of affiliate programs and express my personal view of it.

You can of course look at this word or this term from different perspectives and also understand and explain it differently.

If you look at the word as a clause in affiliate programs and it is also explained there in the conditions how the affiliate program defines the word and how it is understood, then it is okay so far. It is then their terms and understanding that one can accept or reject. It only becomes difficult if such terms are subsequently introduced. As a partner, you have absolutely no chance of rejecting new or specific changes to the terms, because otherwise you won't get anywhere. You are almost forced to accept these conditions. If you do not agree with these conditions, the only consequence left is the possibility of no longer working with this partner.

Then there are those affiliate programs that might also use the word and have it in their terms but deal with it quite differently because they also have a different way of defining it.

My definition of inactivity, however, is quite clear. As the word itself suggests, it simply means to be inactive. If I as an affiliate don't make the slightest move to even list a brand/casino then I would personally consider that inactive and then any affiliate program would have the right to set an account to inactive.

Closing accounts, on the other hand, is cheeky and absolutely unethical in my opinion.
