Post ecoPayz halts gambling transactions in the EEA

Another piece of bad news from an online payment service provider in relation to transactions in casinos.

Not enough that Neteller and Skrill caused problems and you had to change. Now there is also ecoPayz, which was thought to be easy to carry out financial transactions in online casinos to perform.

Probably too happy and too optimistic.

Because I was wondering why suddenly ecoPayz is no longer offered as a payment method in my favorite casino.

The reason is that ecoPayz no longer offers transactions in the gambling sector and allows people in the European Economic Area (EEA) Life.

Therefore, the casinos are forced to remove ecoPayz from their payment methods or to make them no longer visible.

Other countries outside of EEA's but can still be processed with the payment method.

It's actually a shame that ecoPayz hasn't found any other way to get around this.

Addendum: It doesn't seem to affect all casinos and probably also depends on the individual classifications of the licenses at companies.
But why one company offers ecoPayz and the other not if the same license is available remains a mystery to me.

Therefore, one cannot generally assume that this payment provider no longer offers its services in the gambling sector.
You have to check in detail whether this method is offered or not. The reason that it exclusively the EEA concerned cannot be left as it is.

But Neteller & Co. also hung around at first and then gradually discontinued their services with certain companies.
Today, the service provider is again represented in casinos that have applied for a German license and the rules relating to the GluStV 2021 consequences.
