Thumbs up Mr Green discontinues casino offerings in Germany

Yesterday came the news that Mr Green will discontinue its slot/gaming and casino offering for the German market on December 28, 2020.

Due to the new rules and guidelines, this deadline was set by the regulatory authorities.

What does that mean for you as a customer and for us as a partner?

For casino offers, i.e. slots, you have to look for another casino because only sports betting is supported.

The funny thing about the story is that only the sportsbook was taken out to comply with the rules and only slot machines were available. Now you do it the other way around, you take in sports betting and kick out the casino offer.

Many of you may be aware that Mr Green used to be a top casino and was unfortunately bought by William Hill last year.

William Hill has always been known to screw their partners. Everything was fine when we started Mr Green, but after the takeover William Hill showed its true colors again. So it was only a matter of time before they would start stealing players and customers again through such measures.

First they crush Redbet and now it's Mr Green's turn. These bonds on Israel will stop at nothing. There are people at work who have neither character nor morals and I don't mean the small employees.

It's not for nothing that they've been on our black list for a long time. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do except to warn users and partners against either not playing at William Hill Group casinos or entering into a business partnership.

Unfortunately, there will also be partners in the future who advertise with it, even if only with sports betting.

I am convinced that these plans were already in the drawer, as the saying goes. William Hill are cutthroats of the first order. It's a shame that a once good product is dragged into the dirt and destroyed with lousy structures. The former founders shouldn't really like what is becoming/has become of their product, even if they were well paid for it.

It's really a shame how some companies work in this business.

But it's all useless, we will remove Mr Green from our portfolio and thus meet the demands on us.

I understood the mail that "only" the advertising for slots is prohibited. You can continue to play the slots there..

Because the last point says: "[...]we will continue paying agreed Revenue Share commissions on product Slots for your existing players[...]"

They are no longer allowed to offer promotional offers such as bonuses or free spins, that is correct. As an existing customer you can still access slots when you are logged in.

If an interested customer calls up the Mr Green website, then only sports betting comes up. So a new customer sees no slots at all. In addition, they change everything anyway, Aff program, etc. Perhaps existing customers are still included at the moment, but the question is for how long? They will steal all customers!

The Mr Green website to see the slots is only possible if you are already a customer and then only logged in. In order to be able to see the slots without being logged in, you have to enter the address directly https://slots.mrgreen.de/ enters.

The address is currently: https://www.mrgreen.de and there you only see sports betting. It may be that they will either change the addresses now or that will happen as I suspect.

Seems to be similar to Betano, who suddenly took down all (slots) promotions.

Let's see in which direction this goes...

All Mr Green promotions/campaigns related to slots must be removed from your websites by December 28th at the latest. Mr Green's affiliate program will be changed on December 28th to only support sports betting.

All Mr Green slot/gaming/casino offers in Germany are terminated with immediate effect.
In the next few days the welcome offer for slots on Mr Green Germany will be deactivated and we will be redirecting all traffic accordingly. Until December 28th Mr Green will only be offering one welcome offer for new German customers and that is the existing 100% sports betting welcome offer up to -100,-.
ALL Mr Green references, logos and landing pages in terms of slots must be removed from your websites by December 28 at the latest.
I think the support staff don't even know exactly what's going on. Different statements, maybe not properly understood and communicated. But the fact is that WH is once again deliberately fooling people.

Due to the new German regulation, they now have the chance to steal all players, first it was sports betting where players were taken out and now they are switching to slots and sports betting again. This means that long-term partners have lost many players and I appreciate that clauses will soon be added for new players. All in all, they follow the same path as William Hill did in his time. But who is surprised, with the takeover it was clear that it would come sooner or later.

Players should avoid the shed as a matter of urgency in the future, because experience has already shown that William Hill not only fools customers but also rips off players, things will not go differently with the green ones in the future either. It's a pity because I personally found Mr Green to be one of the best casinos.

The website can currently also be used https://mrgreen.com/de do not open. If you are currently looking for Mr Green, you will find advertisements and various websites, but none that lead directly to Mr Green.

The only way is via slots[dot]mrgreen[dot]de

I can't say why that is, but maybe it has something to do with the fact that Zecure Gaming Ltd. as the operator was already sued and sentenced twice for damages (Rizk and Mr Green) in October because they allegedly violated the "GlüStV".

Of course you can judge that as you like, but everyone who gambles knows that you can also lose money. I personally consider it to be a very bad act to turn to any portal (with legal representation) to sue the operator. Players who do that have no honor for me. I also have to protect the gambling companies a bit, no matter if I like them or not and no matter if that's just peanuts for them.
