The BoA is in my house bank's partner network - so it has never cost anything.
Do I/did I have a mistake in my thinking or you?

Apart from my reasons given above about the FX and withdrawal fees of the Skrill construction...
But if you show up at the partner network bank with the Skrill MasterCard - then the Skrill MasterCard is a foreign card like (almost) any other card (ergo: ATM fees are due), right?
The exemption from fees at the partner bank only applies because you push a "friendly" product from your house bank into the ATM slot - doesn't it?

    RE: Skrill

Meanwhile, Skrill has seen some changes in its fee structure - most negative, some positive:

    - negative: The ATM fee is only waived from VIP level silver. (before already from bronze)
    - negative: slightly higher fees when paying out to a bank account (not applicable from VIP Silver)

    - positive: The cash withdrawal limits at ATMs have been increased significantly. With bronze now 750 euros possible (previously 250 euros) - that puts the 1,80 euros costs into perspective. With VIP Silver even 1.500 euros (previously 500 euros) - free of charge.

No claim to completeness - just the things that struck me first.

    RE: Skrill

@IndexP: Yes, of course I use the partner card.

I just wanted general information about withdrawing with the Mastercard. That has nothing to do with the other.

    RE: Skrill

There are changes again at Skrill.

    Neutral:
    • The volume of transactions to merchants at the VIP level is no longer evaluated over a rolling 90-day period.
    • From now on, the volume of Transactions to merchants are processed at VIP level within the evaluated in the last calendar quarter.

What that means for you now

On July 1st, we will calculate the volume of your transactions to merchants between April 1st 00.01 GMT and June 30th 23.59 GMT. The volume of your transactions to merchants during this period determines your VIP level for the next quarter (July, August, September). What changes is that we guarantee you VIP level status for at least 3 months.

What that means for you in the future

In order to maintain your VIP level, you must reach the required minimum transaction volume with merchants in each calendar quarter. You can upgrade your VIP level at any time by completing transactions that meet the minimum requirements for the next level.

Negative (if I interpret that correctly):
    Cancellation of Loyalty Bonus Points

Loyalty bonus points will no longer be valid from June 30th 23.59 GMT. Therefore, all members who have loyalty bonus points must redeem them before July 1, 2016, otherwise they will expire. Make sure you file your claim by this date.

All accumulated Loyalty Bonus Points will be invalid after June 30th 23.59 GMT. So make sure you make your claims by this date.

    RE: Skrill

Well, the merger of Net and Skrill has really only negative effects. Then it starts in June.

I am considering using my Mastercard directly for payments more than before...

    RE: Skrill

two different payment providers. Skrill offers the possibility to withdraw cash with a card. PayPal does not offer this option. you can only transfer to a bank account or pay online. otherwise I can't think of a difference - maybe someone else here in the forum?

    RE: Skrill

sure, you can only apply for a card with skrill and use it to withdraw cash, you can't do that with paypal.

    RE: Skrill

And Skrill clearly does that better. Especially since it's so nice to pay with a card. When it comes to casinos, I've been out of PayPal for a long time.
