high fees when withdrawing via neteller at sportingbet

I had a payout at sportingbet yesterday. deposited via neteller and wanted to withdraw via neteller. already charged when making the deposit ----- i was a bit surprised, but kept within limits. when they paid out they really wanted to rip off - 4,9%.... nothing else comes to mind. but then you can probably have it paid out via another method, paypal and card cost nothing.

Well, that's very strange, because their page says something else:

Does Sportingbet charge fees for deposits and withdrawals?
No, Sportingbet does not charge any fees for deposits and withdrawals.

This means the help page has not been updated. For me it is an outrage to demand such horrendous fees for Neteller even if there are alternatives that not everyone necessarily wants to use.

I think that was introduced with the acquisition by GVC Hodings. Can't imagine it's a requirement from Neteller itself, even though the fees there have also been raised in the past.

I tend to think that something is wrong here - or that information is missing.

And come on Slotti - you know yourself that Sportingbet/GVC or whoever doesn't take any fees if it doesn't say so on the website.

    @almera:
What did the Sportingbet support say when you pointed out the alleged free of charge (according to the website) and your own experiences?

    General:
I have at least two suspicions here:
    1. What currency is your Neteller account in - what currency are your Sportingbet accounts and sub-accounts in? In what currency did Sportingbet debit?
    2. How many times did you wager your deposited money before you made a withdrawal, almera?

Re: high fees when paying out via neteller at sportingbet

hello indexP, i have my neteller account in euros and my gaming account is also in euros. I've played for a long time, i.e. wagered enough money . and about the fees - here is a copy of my deposit transaction :8/03/2017 22:12 CET
    2.94 EUR

NETeller deposit fee collected and it still says:
    Please note: This transaction
    was carried out in EUR.

and this is written under neteller if you want to pay out:

    Processing time:
    Maximum 48 hours
    Minimum payout: 10.00 EUR
Fee: 4.9% Maximum payout: 10,000.00 EUR

and I didn't ask the support about it - was a bit taken care of... they don't know much anyway, I asked the support about something else and didn't get any reasonable answer.

I can only agree with the latter...

Well, your fee when depositing shouldn't have been kept within limits - should (according to the ad in my cashier) be the same 4,9%.
    Same goes for Skrill.
On the other hand, no fees for Paypal, KK and many other payment variants.
So the thing is obvious - Neteller and Skrill are pretty much not welcome at Sportingbet.

Because of the discrepancies (no fees in the help vs. fees in the cashier) - I would piss them off...

I didn't bother the support (it didn't work at all because it was female ) but yes, it has been confirmed. However, since when this has been the case, no one could answer me at the moment. Of course I drew your attention to the help page. The support cannot change that either and of course refers to other payment methods.

The advantage here would be, if you have deposited with Neteller, you can withdraw with another without incurring any fees, but who wants that?

Since Click2Pay is even mentioned on the help page, I don't even want to know when it was last updated...
