AW: Neteller no longer available at Jackpotcity

NETELLER has limited service in the following countries. You can find more information in our Online help.

    • Belgium
    • Canada
    • France
    • Germany
    • Hong Kong
    • Israel
    • Italy
    • Japan
    • Macau
    • Singapore
    • Spain
    • Turkey
    • United Arab Emirates (UAE)
    • United Kingdom
    • United States of America

Whatever is meant by "restricted" can be found under Terms of Use and Guidelines: Unfortunately, the countries have the following link: https://www.neteller.com/de/policies...iced-countries, the language swapped with Danish.

It is speculated that it could have something to do with the prepaid Mastercard, maybe also in relation to money laundering. Although it is a real card, it is probably not as comprehensible/controllable in relation to the account as I said, pure speculation.

A call back from my VIP supervisor may have shed a little light on the matter. But he only overheard the information (so nothing reliable):
Neteller probably thinks it has to meet some regulatory requirements - and has probably checked the specified Microgaming casinos for the existence of a German license. Of course they don't have that - but Neteller "overlooked" that the casinos (like all the other 95%) are in possession of a European/Maltese license.
Sounds like a lot of chaos at Neteller, someone might have. acted a bit prematurely (if it's true).
I wouldn't be surprised if there is a big backwards roll - the casinos will definitely be reluctant to do without Neteller - and Neteller will certainly be reluctant to do without the sales of the affected Microgaming casinos.
I received further information on this point from a conversation with my VIP manager at Neteller, which I would like to summarize here:

In the run-up to November 30th, Neteller appears to have received some pressure from (UK?) authorities to review the licenses of its casino partners/dealers in order to be able to continue doing business with casinos .
So Neteller wrote to its casino business partners - and asked them to submit the German/European/whatever casino licenses.
Some casinos have complied with this request; others not.
Neteller turned off the latter (of necessity) from the beginning of December.

Sounds a bit like a robber's gun - but it's probably not entirely far-fetched either. Possibly Microgaming (and also other casinos) meant that they didn't have to react to this request.

It is also supposed to be the case that since the beginning of December (purified) stragglers have been arriving with their license - and their Neteller access will then be reactivated.

This is the presentation of Neteller...
I would have liked to have had a statement from a casino VIP manager (known to me) - but I haven't called back yet.
All in all, that could be the case - and would then also explain why Neteller works in some casinos and not in others.

But I don't see that this should only be a German problem.
And what also surprises me...that I haven't read anything further about this Neteller/Casino problem.

Spielo, maybe you can deliver more puzzle pieces via your VIP contact at Neteller?

My VIP wasn't in the house until a few days ago and seems to be hiding now, but I'm on the ball to get more info on this and other issues. There must be a lot more to it than we suspect. On the one hand it has something to do with the country in which you have your Neteller account and on the other hand, as already mentioned, with the casinos themselves.

As an example, I fill in here Lapalingo one in which I wanted to test it and couldn't deposit anymore, but others could still deposit with Neteller. My Neteller account is not stored in Germany!

I'm also not really sure if one makes such an outline here because of the German licenses, because as we all know, this is only valid for Schleswig Holstein and therefore the remaining federal states would have to be blocked. On the other hand, I noticed today in the account that you want to verify the address again, because the conditions have supposedly changed. I don't know if it's just me or all of you.

I talked to the manager from 77 Jackpot/Ares, he confirmed to me that Neteller payments from all over Europe are no longer possible in the two casinos. Stargames doesn't work for me either and slotti said I think it worked for him. So after all a rather global country problem and much more.

Anyway, I'm on it and trying to get more information.

Neteller definitely doesn't work for the typical and pure Microgaming casino groups, but funnily enough, Skrill does. I know that the Vegas Partner Lounge group (Crazy Vegas, Golden Riviera) has not applied for a new UK license, but it will probably be the same for the other groups.

Here it is quite simply offset against what the new UK license costs and what UK players we have. As it stands, the decision has been made to dispense with the UK players.

An exception is the 32Red group (already tested), because they have a British license. It might have something to do with it. Neteller works normally in other casinos such as Stargames, Quasar, Cherry Casino, Betsson, MrGreen or in Playtech casinos.

There is also nothing to read in my account about a renewed address verification with Neteller.

Haha, here we go - Golden Riviera Group:

    Dear...,

You will certainly remember that I had to tell you earlier this month
the NETeller your service for online Casino removed and you then choose other deposit methods
    had to choose.

Now may I tell you that NETeller has reinstated their deposit service and when
You want to be able to use it again.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused and hope you enjoy
About this change which allows you to use NETeller again.

I can confirm that for the Vegas Partner Lounge Casinos (already tested) and maybe shed a little more light on this topic.

This information lets you at least breathe a sigh of relief and come to the conclusion that it has nothing to do with the individual licenses of the countries.

Although it's about licenses, it's not how we imagine it, but quite simply a license that is probably necessary between the casino and Neteller.

Means, Neteller demands a license fee from its partners so that they can offer their service at all. So you always come up with new ideas to earn money.

Neteller's reaction also fits in with this, because some companies either did not respond in time or did not respond at all. Let's see how the other casinos/groups react now and whether everything will be reversed.

I also think that there will be no official comment on this. Those casinos/groups that pay this "license fee" will also be able to offer it. (therefore no statement in the e-mails as to the reason)

To be honest, the answer from the Casino Rewards group is also incomprehensible. First I was informed that it is probably about increased fees, which would no longer be profitable for the player or for the casino. Then suddenly that was revised because it was allegedly a false statement. The new reason is then that Neteller, Skrill and Co. have stopped the service for Germany.

It's funny how different it is. First Neteller is no longer available at Vegas Partner Lounge but Skrill is, then Neteller is suddenly available again. At other casinos everything is possible and at others nothing at all. None of this makes any sense and you only get typical, unspecified and sometimes incorrect statements on this topic.

The only option left for now is to focus on the casinos that offer both or at least one of these options, since you can transfer between Skrill and Neteller. (even if it costs fees)
