What strategies are there in roulette?

I'm thinking about trying roulette and I wanted to know what strategies are there that really work? or maybe even strategies used in live roulette (Info) can be applied.

in my opinion, there is no really successful strategy. sometimes it works - but then it really sucks. if there were a really successful strategy, there would only be rich players and no more casinos....

There is virtually no winning strategy.

But there are simple "strategies" to at least minimize your (expected) loss:
- Never play "American Roulette". (5,4% house edge)
- If roulette, then "French roulette".
- In French Roulette the following distinction is made again: When betting on single numbers, 2s, 6s up to the dozens - 2,7% house advantage. For the "Easy Chances" (Red/Black, Pair/Impair, 1-18 and 19-36) the "La Partage Rule" applies (with "Zero" half the bet is returned) - to the easy ones Chances therefore only 1,35% house edge.

So, to minimize his losses:
Only play French roulette - and there only the simple odds.
Whether that still brings enough fun and thrills, of course, is another question...

There are quite a few isolated procedures with which you can "get something" at live roulette. However, these require an enormous amount of effort as well as many years of gaming experience and well-founded specialist knowledge.

There are certainly series where things are going well, but the morbid system players have always got their face in the face. Even the big players in the industry have been hit, they're just well-known roulette players!
