    unhappy Game of Thrones

After the first sessions for the launch of Microgaming's new online game on December 1st, 2014, here is a summary.

Game of Thrones is a rather stupid and boring game. You only see yellow, red and silver as you spin the reels. There are no built-in features and there is no creativity or passion in the graphics either.

The only bonus single symbol win is an amount of money equal to the bet if 2 scatters appear, but this can be multiplied. Three scatters trigger the free spins feature, where you can choose between the 4 houses for free spins and multipliers.

The chances of winning are very modest, so you have to have a lot of wilds, even in a 5 of a kind combination, to win higher sums.

Single wins were as follows: $140 normal spin (wilds in a 5 of a kind combination) stake $1.20

various minor wins that are not worth mentioning

Scatter single symbol win $120 stake $2.40

Scatter single symbol win in free spins $360 stake $2.40

With a balance of over $700 and varied stakes, however, the credit is eaten up so quickly because nothing more comes.

Personally, I expected more from this game and am disappointed that the developers seem to have put so little effort into it.

    More experience Game of Thrones

After further excursions into this game, here are a few more values from experience with some slightly higher bets.

Normal single scatter win at stake $1.50 = $75

Normal single scatter win at stake $4.20 = $210

Normal single scatter win at stake $6.00 = $300

(at least 2x in a session)

So the single scatter bonus can multiply the win up to 50x, so it's not uncommon for a 50x multiple win to occur.

The question of which house to choose for free spins must of course be answered individually by everyone, but my experience has shown that I have benefited the most from the choice of the houses Lannister and Baratheon (comes of course sometimes nothing), whereby the supposedly higher number of free spins in the houses Stark or Targaryen is already given, the multiplication is less but also contains more stacks. (tried several times)

Basically, you have to use the short winning phases (within a few minutes) in this game and get out, because you notice very quickly that nothing works after that and the credit literally sinks into the ground. Even if you think oh it's going really well and you're raising the stakes (which is basically not a bad thing), it's better to change the game.

Another tip from me: Using the bet function, where you choose heads or tails and can thus travel to 4 locations, is highly risky even if the chance is 50:50. Tentatively I managed only 2 places and one is angry black, so better keep the sparrow in hand.

    RE: Game of Thrones

I've already been really lucky twice - but with relatively high stakes and then it's worth it. you have to develop a feel for this game and that can be expensive. there are better ones...

    unhappy RE: Game of Thrones

If the online game of Aristocrat should ever exist somewhere, then that's 10x better and really cool. The game is really fun due to the features and short film sequences as well as sound effects. However, I have only experienced this in one casino so far, and as with any other game, it is of course always a question of taste.

But if you love the series and have the opportunity to play the game live in a casino (Westspiel Casino Duisburg) you will also like this game. Whether it will be available as an online game at some point is difficult to say, because there is already a variant via Microgaming, but it is not nearly as good.

Here's a little taste of Aristocrat Live Slots:

    RE: Game of Thrones

Played the slot on my recent Vegas vacation. A decent amount of money went into it. No question: the effects were cool (including a vibrating armchair in front of the slot) - but that's about it...
