I just saw an advertisement on facebook that is aimed at people who play online, it even says: Neteller or Skrill customer? Come to MuchBetter!

This app is currently only available in the UK and has something to do with gifts, bonuses and online shops. Why they associate this with Skrill or Neteller is a mystery to me. At the moment only bank transfer is possible anyway. This is a purely online operation without telephone contact (e-mail only). Supposed to be available all over the world but they don't have a list and say it's only available in UK. It's not at all clear to me what kind of target group they are focused on.

They do advertise online gaming and lower fees but it's not mature at all. For that it would have to be available as a payment option at most online gaming companies, otherwise it's a shot backwards. Bringing such an app onto the market without having won enough potential providers for it is already a risk. Therefore, at the moment completely uninteresting for customers in the online gaming area. I'd rather pay a few more fees and know what I have and that I can use it almost anywhere. I think they would have failed completely when they were introduced and presented to investors.

MuchBetter is an e-money account (wallet) just like Skrill or Neteller etc. Licensed and regulated under the European e-Money Directive.
MuchBetter is only available as an app - for Apple and Android.
You can top up the MuchBetter account in Germany with: Sofort, bank transfer, Trustly, cash (yes, cash!), Visa, Mastercard, Bitcoin, Ether, BTC, Giropay (currently deactivated because the flow is not optimal in an app ).
Credit in MuchBetter can be paid out by bank transfer to your own bank account or with the free MuchBetter Prepaid Mastercard at an ATM or just go shopping with the card. In addition, in the future (October) it will also be possible to pay out in BTC and Bitcoin.
You can make the following transactions with MuchBetter: deposit directly with online gaming providers (just one "tap" in the app), send money to any phone number or request money (P2P). Receive money from online gaming providers. Thus, the wallet does everything that Skrill or Neteller does - only faster, better and cheaper.
