888 takes over parts of William Hill!

888 acquires William Hill's non-US assets. The owner Caesars Entertainment had only acquired the William Hill Group in April 2021 for GBP 2,9 billion. The big player 888 has decided to do this Non-US Business to buy from Caesars. Caesars Entertainment's goal, however, was to sell WH's US and international business.

With 2,6 billion euros, 888 is now buying at least part of the William Hill Group. The necessary antitrust and gaming regulatory approvals had already been obtained in advance. If the remaining conditions are met, the deal is expected to close in the first quarter of 2022.
