Users who have previously registered will automatically see new posts first when they click on a topic. Of course, that doesn't just look bad, it's also wrong for a forum. Thread ranking should always be old to new, meaning the last post is the most recent post.
So you can change that so that the display is correct,
1. Go to Control Center
2. Settings / Change settings
3. Change display of themes
