Hello you,

I am now looking to buy a laptop from my winnings and so far I have always had Win7 installed and very happy with it. My consideration now is that if I buy a laptop, I could put Win7 on it again. What are your experiences with Win8 systems, are they good for gambling? For example, I don't like the whole interface with these apps, but my brother told me you could also import the old interface.

What do you think, better install win7 or leave win8 on the computer?

Thanks for your tips

With Win 8.1 it is now standard that you boot "into the old desktop". That means you only see the tiles (Metro) if you want to go there (or accidentally hit the WIN key).

Because Windows 10 is in the starting blocks, it will probably not be too long before support for Windows 7 is discontinued. In addition, some technologies, such as the file system, are much better and faster in Windows 8.

I would definitely go with Windows 8. But that's just my opinion... ;)

Good day,

I only have very little time, because I've been supposed to test something all week and also practically, that means driving an old man out the door again, just read quickly here in this forum, not even in my virtual diary at the AffPower Casino Promoters, and that says a lot.

Don't forget the die-hards like me, who still have Windows XP running on one of the two computers and are super happy with it, because at our age it doesn't matter if some things take a little longer. Actually the XP update support should have been discontinued a long time ago, but then another one came up about 3 weeks or so. I was very surprised.

By the way, a Freudian slip of the tongue comes to mind, which should warn you all against always using the same passwords in online casinos or passwords that you usually use. The Freudian slip of the tongue came from an online casino support team who, because of a problem the player was having, said that he would now log into the player account to test something.

Aha?!

How does support know the password? The player who transmitted this story to me would rather get an ox nose ring pierced in her pinky toe than give passwords to any stranger.

If support staff can log into the game account, can they also gamble with the players' money?

The question is actually not that far-fetched.

Or?

Hello Leopold, I do not deny that it would certainly be possible here and there, but with the well-known and large companies (although one has already experienced the craziest things there) something like this is actually safe. They are also subject to certain licensing conditions, especially when it comes to security. If it came out that an employee (whether with or without the knowledge of management) could gain access with security-relevant data, then Holland would certainly be in trouble.

Personally, this hasn't happened to me in all these years, let alone I've noticed an irregularity in the credit balance. I have the sums in my head, since it could only be a maximum of 2 casinos in the course of a session.

In general, I also think (as already mentioned) that a lot is possible that we don't know anything about. The problem with it, however, is always the proof.

As far as the partner area is concerned (without wanting to name names), things are a bit different.

I will create a topic with my personal comment in the affiliates area, because it deviates too far from the actual topic here. to the commentary (http://www.playtime-forum.info/forum/www.playtime-forum.info/forum/affiliates-und-webmaster-bereich/affiliates/71-verdachsmomente-und-manipulationspossibilities-bei-partnerprogrammen.html )

Yes, first of all, thanks for the good advice, it ended up being a win8 computer with a win7 interface. Very chic and very fast :-)
