I know this is a growing conversation and some casinos are increasingly offering it, but honestly I don't know what to think of it. Why should I want to pay with a virtual monetary unit, i.e. a "digital coin", where the conversion rate into another means of payment is determined by supply and demand?

It may be that there is a market for it, but it doesn't appeal to me at the moment.

I totally agree with slotti.
Such e-wallets like Neteller, Skrill, etc. are enough for me. Even if they are not banks, I can read my "account balance" and its value there at any time.
Switching at least one more level in between there (including an artificial currency with high volatility) - as a Central European I see no point in that at the moment.

If I were an American (because of the many non-existent e-wallets) - or if I wanted to sell or buy illegal drugs - THEN things might look different.;)
But like this - no need and no experience on the subject of Bitcoin.

Unfortunately, I can't help you there either, but the fact that bitcoin's exchange rate is determined by supply and demand sounds very uncertain to me....I'd rather stick with PayPal ;)

thank you for your answers. I also find the matter suspicious. But at the moment you can find this payment option in many casinos. I thought I wasn't really up to date anymore.
