Hi people,

do you have a pet or several? If yes, which?

Currently have 3 guinea pigs, but I am considering buying a dog, let's see that's a difficult decision I think.

No, I don't have time for that, and I'm far too often on the road, sometimes for weeks and spontaneously.

I once had a cat that was run over and I don't have a pet anymore. Let's see what time brings with it.

Okay, if you're always on the go and don't have time, it's clear that it's not worth getting an animal, which would also be completely wrong.

Want to go see puppies today labrador puppies. The costs from 800€ upwards. I would not have thought that you would have to pay so much for a dog. :p

A labrador puppy will probably get one for 700€ directly from a breeder who is also a vet, very cool. I'm curious.

They want so much money for a dog, man the world is crazy! I had Brachypelma Boehmei, unfortunately died of old age last year at Christmas. See if I'll get one again, it's not that easy to find good breeders, but the price is far below a dog. :-)

Seriously, no spider, I don't need that in the house. :D

But the thing with the dog is still going on because of the daughter's illness.
Many want 1300€ upwards if they are pure breeding animals.

I think the whole thing is nice, especially for children, but you simply have to have time for such an animal, as already mentioned, I wouldn't have this.

Glumbi

That's true, although the upbringing is definitely up to us, the kids are still too small for that. But you definitely have to take your time, we hope everything works out as hoped. :D

Cool, I had one too, she was 15 years old and then she died, about two years ago. A beautiful animal and really very reassuring if you like such animals. But I also have a dog, so both, whereby the dog needs a lot of time and activity and the spider only wanted a breakfast once a month.

Glumbi

Once a month is that enough?

gamblejohn

You give a spider a cricket or house cricket 1-2 times a month, they are not as greedy as dogs. :wh13:

I've often been on the road longer, so I always put 5 - 6 in for her, but she wasn't very interested in that, full is full!

my dog, she was just 8 weeks old

Glumbi

Oh god, very cute! What is that?

We have now also found one is only 4 weeks old, it will take until the end of January until it moves in with us..

They're cute when they're still very young, ours is a Pitbull crossbreed, and although it comes from a noble breed, nobody knows exactly what's still inside. Now she is about 7 years old and still afraid of other dogs.

But yours looks almost the same, same snout and all other characteristics...

Glumbi

That's right.. although ours is a pure labrador. But let's see how she looks when she's older.

Very nice animals, I would like that too, but currently no addition is planned

Ulken
13.12.19, 10: 43
In any case, a lot of work and dirt, that's for sure.

Glumbi
14.12.19, 09: 12
Sure, but it also has nice sides, that's why you have an animal if you do.

Another visit to our new addition is planned tomorrow, but probably not until we get them. She was supposed to move in with us around January 20th. :yyy:

How old is she then?

Glumbi

It should now be January 24.01th. we were with the little ones again on Saturday. She is then 11 weeks and 3 days old. ;)

So the 24.01. is certain, then we will bring the young lady here to our home. Everyone is already curious how it will be, certainly not always easy but still beautiful. She has grown quite a bit in the last three weeks. :biggrin-new:

Show us another picture when he's there. ;-)

Of course I can do that.

She's been living with us for a good week now, sometimes just nice, sometimes really exhausting. Of course, the whole thing hasn't been recorded here yet and she's only 12 weeks old now, so a lot still has to be learned.

Nice, do you know now what kind of breed it is?

Glumbi

A Labrador, purebred.

He looks cute, nice animal.

Glumbi
05.02.20, 11: 10
Thank you, yes it's nice, but it's also exhausting. :)

In the meantime, the little one was at the vet for vaccinations, and she probably has a bladder infection because she has to pee very, very often. Get meds for it now.

Oh my god, how cute is it, I would also like one, unfortunately I don't have time for it at the moment.

10.02.20, 12: 35
Yes, she is really sweet, but as mentioned, sometimes really stressful. :)

Beautiful animals but no time for them either, I'm always on the go.

Glumbi
15.02.20, 15: 29
Then it is also better not to get an animal, you have to take your time for that.

Mexxx
24.02.20, 17: 39
I had a rat once but it's been a while

Glumbi
03.03.20, 15: 15
It's getting better and better with the little one, of course not quite as it should have been, but all in all it's going in the right direction.

Glumbi

All the topics are currently somewhat forgotten, but an update. Things are going quite well with our little one, most of the initial difficulties have been overcome and peeing is no longer an issue. You still have to work on a few points, of course, but we're happy.
