Since I have a smartphone tick and am generally interested in everything around it, I wanted to ask what kind of cell phone/smartphone you are currently using?
Do you change this often or use it for years etc., I would be happy if you would say something about it.
I usually change my smartphone every six months. Until a year ago it was sometimes only 3 months until I got something new. ๐
I've been using the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus since April and am very satisfied so far. ๐

In the days when mobile phones were still in their infancy and you could maintain direct contact with the first SMS without making a call, that was still a mega fascination. Today I only use these things to be reachable on the go via Skype or Whatsapp. OK, in times when the mobile existence is getting more and more attention, the phone is included in various development work.
But since my greed for the latest technology is no longer so great, I'm already using the third J5 from Samsung, which is enough for me. I also have the gift of always destroying my cell phones, so it would be a shame to sacrifice a lot of money for something like that.
The J5 series is not that bad and also had one here to test. Of course, the S class is better, but something cheaper is certainly enough for everyday use. Only with the camera you can already feel a clear difference, but it is not equally important to everyone. For me, my smartphone is also a digicam replacement because I don't have any more.

For me it's still the Samsung S5, which has been around for some time. I could also have a new one every 2 years, but that always costs a few hundred euros these days. That's normally what it says on the packaging.. in the device. I'm not that familiar with Apple. But 6 or 6s because S6 would be Samsung :biggrin-new:

Without the blondes always feeling like this, it's almost impossible to find out which cell phone you actually own. At least on the Samsung it will show up when you boot up. I don't know how it is for others.
So I normally know which device I'm using... ;) but what always works is to look at the packaging if you're looking for an exact name and don't know it.

Well, since I usually give mine away after a few months, I still have everything completely together. But as you can see, everyone handles it differently.

Ohha bull's eye, but at least you have a replacement and you know which one you want. In such a case I am always unsure whether I should try something new, usually I return to the familiar. :p

Buy a Note 8 from Samsung or an S9 + then it'll be even more fun.. :yyy:
Or the new Samsung A6, which is considerably cheaper than the S series but is now very well equipped.

It's completely sufficient, I've had devices for less than โฌ100, rather than a replacement or second device, which in themselves are completely sufficient for important daily tasks. But it's just a tick... :p

A6 from Samsung, I had it turned on to me with my new contract, but it's quite ok.
The new A6 is supposed to be really great, I would like to test it, but you can't try too many things at once. Think that it certainly has everything you need.
I'm also about to change, I had the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus and after I only had battery problems, I first switched to the Sony Xperia XZ 2, but that didn't suit me at all, so I'll add one now Huawei P20 Pro ordered which should come tomorrow. That's supposed to be the best of the moment.

If the battery hadn't started to cause such problems, I would still use the Samsung. But that annoyed me so much and these are things I don't have patience for when I pay a lot of money for something and it doesn't work as it should. I could bang that against the wall in anger.
So today the good piece came, the Huawei P20 Pro is already a fine part so what I can say so far. My goal is to use this at least until April or May next year.. that's the plan.
I've been using the P20 Pro from Huawei for 3 days now and I'm really excited, I didn't think I would like it so much. The battery is a dream, especially compared to the Samsung and otherwise a real bomb!

Oh man, I actually did it and destroyed my new cell phone in a few weeks. So to the media market and got a new one, but again the J7, I'm very happy with it.
I currently still have the P20 Pro from Huawei, a good companion is really a lot of fun, unfortunately I already have things like that in the back of my head...
The Note 9 from Samsung would have a charm or now in September let's see what's new from Apple... hm Huawei is also bringing the Mate 20 Pro, let's see if there will be major improvements to the P20 Pro... it is just an addiction... bad..

I wouldn't switch from Samsung to iPhone either, from sunshine to thunderstorms if you don't have a plan, well bravo!!! I don't know how it is with iPhones, but since I constantly need a new Samsung because of stupidity, I just connect my accounts and everything is restored in less than 5 minutes, but from Samsung to iPhone, only you know .

So yesterday I got a J6, one size smaller and very handy. Feels like a phone and not a computer that you have to buy extra large pants for. But since my other two J7s are still relatively new, I have now decided to buy two displays, they are quite affordable on Ebay and will repair them. With my luck, that's probably for the best. :-)

I've had the new iPhone Xs since Saturday and I have to say I think it's really cool. I got a Samsung Galaxy A6 Plus as a second device and because I also want to use an Android cell phone.
It's not high-end, but perfectly adequate for the purpose where I need it.

It turned out that the displays from China were worth nothing, I have now installed two original ones. In the end I still saved a cell phone in costs with it.
Okay, I can understand that. You usually pay twice. I've now got another Huawei P20 Pro, which I found to be the best. The new Mate 20 Pro I can't handle it, that's saying something.
So after I somehow only had problems with the Huawei devices, I have to switch again. Somehow they're all crazy for me at the moment.
Got the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 as the next candidate, let's test it. That should actually stay for 6 months now. :yes:

No, I just want to find the perfect phone, but something usually doesn't fit.
The Note 9 also had to be removed quickly, and I also had problems with the battery.
I've had a Google Pixel 07 XL since December 3th and I have to say it's a hit. Since then no more battery problems, maybe because the Android comes directly from Google I don't know but the part is great. The camera takes mega photos and everything else is right at the moment. After 4 weeks of continuous use if I'm still satisfied that means something. I don't intend to switch again anytime soon.
So much for this topic, of course I couldn't resist again and I've had the new Samsung Galaxy S10 in blue here since Saturday. A great device, I really want to use it for a longer time now. :eusa_whistle:

I now have a Huawei P30 Pro because it really appealed to me because of the camera and battery. This will stay with me for a while now. So at least 6 months later the new Google Pixel 4 will arrive, which will probably arrive in the fall. :but:

I almost ordered a second/new one recently with an intact touch screen etc.
But then I got another cell phone (Nokia 1 something) instead (to sell it again after a few weeks of use (PSC financing and so)).
Before that, other more modern cell phones (e.g. Wiko Lenny 5) were bought and sold again. Just hang onto that broken Wiko Jerry somehow and it offers many proven benefits (e.g. battery, keyboard, etc).
Some notable disadvantages:
-Some slots not playable on it
- Dangerous display damage with missclicks in money games..
-maximum volume too limited for in-ear headphones
-Poor mobile phone camera quality for verification documents/photos in online casinos
Okay, that's of course difficult when new devices are sold again for money.
I'll say as long as your old one is enough for you, even if it's partly defective, that's enough. I am special and certainly not what you can call normal.
Although I have had my current Google Pixel 3 XL since the beginning of May and definitely want to keep it until the end of the year. Maybe then take a look at the Pixel 4, which will come out in October.
I'm getting a new phone very soon though. If necessary, the same copy again (simply with an undamaged display).
Unfortunately, the last newly purchased smartphones in the lower price segment were mostly a disappointment. In the meantime it is hardly possible to do without unnecessary additional options etc.

A lot of newer cell phones are just too expensive for me, as long as my current one works well, if it should be defective I have to think about what I buy.
There are also cheaper models from Apple Gambler like the Xr there can't go wrong and it just keeps rolling.
I'll have to agree with Ulken too often, but the iPhone XR is indeed a cheaper and good alternative if it's going to be an Apple device. Haven't heard a lot good things about it though. Whereby cheap is of course relative, for 200-300 that is not to be had. Think about 500 rum you will have to lie down for the smallest memory size with 64GB.
Sorry, that's much too expensive for me, I don't spend more than 100 - 150โฌ on a phone.

The new iPhone 11 is available from today, I ordered the Pro Max with 512 GB directly and got it today. It did cost a bit but if you want the best you have to pay.
I'm now due for a change, I don't even dare say it, I'll get the iPhone 11 Pro Max first, it just happened that way, I'll test it out if I don't like it at all, it'll just be sold.

So the package without content goes back to the sender, so I'm waiting for a replacement and I'm really annoyed about such idiots. Hope they find out who has it and he gets a smack on the lid.

So something happened after all, the cell phone was probably found in the DHL depot, still wrapped in foil, so unused or something.. went back to the dealer on Friday, I've been on the phone with him in the meantime, he checked it for damage but can't see anything so it's coming back to me now and should arrive tomorrow or wednesday, i'm excited.
I'm still waiting for the iPhone, actually it's supposed to come again today, but since I'm on late shift it's a matter of luck whether the DHL man will come before I have to leave, well, we'll see.

The only thing we agree on. The new iPhone is really mega, so far I haven't been able to test the camera etc. properly, but the battery alone is a dream, you can easily get by for two days if you don't do much with it, even up to three that's fine ingenious.

I got mkr a samsung galaxy a40 a month ago, but mainly use it to gamble at home. at the end of the month i'm going to get a third cheap smartphone so that i can play three slots next to each other on small bets in turbo mode with autospins.
