Hi all,
Since I love to travel and would be interested to know where you, the users of the community, spend their holidays, I'll start this topic here.
You are welcome to write where you have already traveled this year or will travel there, dream destinations, etc.

Well then visit me, I live where others go on vacation :-)
Whenever we travel, it was in Cuba in the past or in December we were in Las Vegas for a few days, although gambling there isn’t really fun, we were there more for entertainment and, among other things, did a heli sightseeing flight over the Grand Canyon or just for fun a day trip by bus in and around Las Vegas. But most of the time we don't freeze, what's the point....
Wow ok not bad! Let's see if it's feasible why not. I'll tell you which corner of the island do you live in? ;-)
Las Vegas would still be one of our dreams. We were in New York a few years ago and wanted to go to Vegas six months later, but the kids would be quicker. ;-)
Now it's time to wait a little longer but will be made up for.

Yes, such a meeting would be cool, the island is not big... so I can go anywhere if it suits the time.

Mallorca, the favorite destination of our compatriots. :D I like to be there too, preferably in spring and autumn,
it's too hot for me in summer, so I like the North Sea. :cool:
Very nice yes it is nice in this country too.
Because of the children, we want a pure bathing week in the summer, Mallorca is great.
This year the grandmother is also going with you and you have the nanny with you at the same time. :-)
My dream would be to make a trip through Greenland, the eternal cold and only ice must be almost fascinating.
I totally agree with you that it must look great and has its appeal but I think it would be too cold for me. 😀
There are so many great goals but somehow you always have to decide for one or the other. Unfortunately, everything at once is not possible. 😁

Our route to Las Vegas went directly over Greenland, which looks overwhelming from the plane. What's also fascinating is that it just doesn't get dark along the horizon. I always wonder how people live there where night never falls.
If it doesn't get dark, it probably wouldn't be for me, because I can't sleep properly in semi-darkness or in the light. I immediately believe that the landscape is fantastic. I would really like New Zealand too.

Mallorca is probably so popular because it is not far away from us and you have sun almost all year round. This year we have another Caribbean cruise ahead of us, 14 days at sea, let's see how that turns out.
You're right, Mallorca is just perfect for us with the kids because we only have about 30 minutes by car from here to the airport and then another 2 hours flight, just perfect.
We've been to Mallorca 10 times now, so you'll find your way around easily. Although we might want to go to Tenerife in 1 or 2 years. We have already been to Gran Canaria with the kids. It also depends on the flight time. I still think longer than 4-5 hours is difficult. Such a cruise and then also in the Caribbean, wow I'm already jealous I would like it too.

Tenerife then only from October. A Mediterranean cruise is also great if the Caribbean is too expensive. We were able to experience that in 2009 with the Fortune Lounge group, I'll tell you a real experience that you like to think back on and never forget.
Cruising hasn't come up yet, but I can certainly imagine it. My parents are doing one in the Mediterranean this year, they fly to Mallorca and from there it starts.
Have any of you ever been to Dubai?
We've now seen several videos etc. and it all looks really great. The water parks are also amazing.
If someone has ever been there, you have to pay special attention to something, you should refrain from certain things, etc. I'm grateful for every tip.

I once had a stopover in Dubai when I flew to Hong Kong, but unfortunately only stayed at the airport. At some point I would like to take a vacation to see it.
That's what it's all about for me, it looks really great there and we want to go there in the near future.

Tell us how it was if you should go on vacation there, the country is interesting with its artificially created worlds.
I'll be happy to do it, but I think it will be in the next year or so, so it will take a while.

I would also be tempted to simply go to the mountains again, after three years in Switzerland I couldn't see them anymore, but now that would certainly be a goal again. Not as a holiday, but a weekend like this is definitely fun.
That's right, we were in February for a weekend in the mountains to go sledding with the kids. It was really nice but didn't have to be longer. 😁

Actually, it's not even the mountains that appeal to me, but enjoying the homemade cheese or high-proof milk on an alpine pasture, in the middle of 2000m altitude, has something very special. Then some hiking down, towards the end again in a cozy inn, you just don't get it by the sea. :D
Well, from your point of view that is of course something else, I would prefer your surroundings more often.. :D
But it's always like that, what you don't have would be of particular interest to you, let's see, maybe we'll get that in August so we can see each other, although we're only there for a week.

Yes, that's true, but it's a bit difficult to manage with a 5 and 7 year old. :p

Although I spent a few years in the mountains, it was never important to me to take part in such events, some of which were totally excessive. Seeing and being seen, a virtue that unfortunately blows the mind of most people, not only in the celebrity world. I was once at an Aff trade fair, which shocked me just as much, when totally withdrawn colleagues said they had to organize a show run with their Ferraris in front of the door.
I don't think so either. Even if I had tens of millions, I wouldn't be into the Schiki Micki stuff either. I'm more the simple type.

To go on an adventure holiday or because of the great weather... :p There are certainly many countries that would be worth a visit just because of the culture, Israel would also be a destination that would appeal to me earth. After all, it is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. Honestly, you have to say that anything can happen to you anywhere and anytime, but you don't necessarily have to challenge it.
see it like you. Somehow certain countries would have their appeal, but since I have had the children I don't dare to do many things anymore and I don't want to challenge anything that doesn't have to be.
The holidays are slowly approaching and I'm really looking forward to it. I somehow need it even more this year than usual. :p

Our summer vacation is canceled this year, but we'll see what great things we can do in winter.
That's quite interesting too, the school holidays annoy me a bit, so if you want to go away for longer than 1 week, you're almost bound to the stupid, expensive summer holidays. I don't always get the rest of the two-week vacations completely off either.
We came across Rhodes through some advertisements, which could also be one of the next destinations, possibly next year or the year after that. What I saw beautiful. Have any of you been there?

Rhodes a beautiful Greek island. We were there a few years ago when our child was only 2 years old, I can only confirm that it was very child-friendly.
Hey guys, what's your holiday planning for 2019? Due to the new position with me and the move, there will probably be no longer vacation this year. But what would interest us would be Malta, that could be something for next year.
I'm asking again specifically, have any of you here ever been to Malta?

For you it has to be something right on the water with a beach, because of the kids. At Le M�ridien you also have a view of the water, but it is a little more centrally located on a main street. There will already be enough possibilities.

And then we all travel at my expense, because I recently had a hammer win while betting...
Still can't believe it but it's true!!! I've been betting for a long time and well, I think to myself, at some point it had to work out and then with the betting too! By the way, betting is my second favorite hobby!
What would be a real dream destination for me is America!

Ah okay I'm afraid I know what you're getting at, but regardless, Thailand is said to have some really great areas, but I haven't been there myself.
Thailand is absolutely brilliant, there is everything I need for a good rest.
Have heard a lot about Thailand you could think about it. I also want to go to the Maldives and Vegas
Well, I don't want to go to Thailand for various reasons, the Caribbean or Vegas, that would certainly be interesting again.
Vegas, oh my, I gambled away my house back then, I will never forget it, but it was worth it, I was lucky and bought a new one.

You're also a small and bad prankster Glumbi. After all, everyone was whining that they didn't have enough money, so they should just really clear things up in the casinos. Am currently in the process of writing a book on how to properly deduct the casinos.
Do you really think anyone will buy this? Well, I'm excited.
A bestseller like this takes time, it can't be done in a few weeks. But when it's finished it will be such a hit, I'll tell you that.
