Baccarat is one of the simplest card games. It is also known by the names Punto Banco. Usually the croupier is the banker, but it can also be played against other players. In this case, one player would be the banker. The aim of the game is to get as close as possible to a value of 2 by adding 3 or a maximum of 9 cards. Baccarat rules
The cards in baccarat have the following values: the ace is worth 1 point, all face cards and 10 are worth 0 points and all other cards have the value they show. If a player gets a total value of more than 10 points with the first two cards, 10 points are automatically deducted. Example: the player gets a 7 and an 8. He now has 5 points since 10 points are deducted.
Before the player is dealt the cards, he must decide in advance how the game could end. He can bet on the player, the banker or that the game ends in a draw. When betting on the bank or the player, the payout is 1:1 and on a tie 8:1. However, the house edge on a tie is 14%, so it's not recommended. Once the player has decided, the game runs alone according to the established rules.
